This crossbow has a steel prod bound with bridle pinding and light-colored piece of leather. It bears a mark in the shape of a quartered circle surrounded by five jagged points. The frayed string is made of hemp with knotted loops. Olive-green woollen pompoms are attached to the binding and the braid. The stock is made of reddish-brown fruitwood. The top of the stock is completely inlaid with bone between the lock mechanism and the prod. At the front is an adjustable bolt rest and engraved scrollwork
