Description
-
The walnut stock is slightly bellied in the middle with iron fittings. The steel prod corded with braided hemp cord and green wool trim passes through the front of the stock and is secured with bow irons. Pom poms of green and green, whit, and red surround the prod. The bowstring is also made of braided hemp cord. A metal suspension ring is riveted to the front of the stock. The bolt rest is inlaid with bone and decoratively engraved with flowers and foliage. Around the butt there are bone and wood inlays in black and white in geometric patterns. There is a metal rear sight. There are lateral support lugs for the spanning lever.
The lock mechanism is a set trigger that is defective with an iron nut and small curved trigger guard connecting from the stock directly to the hand rest that has been replaced. The bolt holder has also been repaired.
