Description

A Spanish style crossbow with a wooden stock made from fruitwood and a steel prod that runs through the middle of the front end of the crossbow. Of notable attention is the prod, where it is secured in place with both brass metal plate and a woven hemp cord wrapped around the prod itself and threaded through an opening in the upper portion of the stock. It possesses a rolling nut made of bone that is securely set within the wooden stock. The upper side of the crossbow features a bolt groove inlaid with bone. At the sides of the crossbow’s middle surrounding the nut are more brass metal plates and a transverse pin running through the stock. The butt of the crossbow is encased with brass metal plates as well, and the crossbow’s trigger is made of steel.
