Description
-
On the front of the crossbow, there is a pyramidal spike tipped in metal. The prod (bow) is made of steel. Bow irons connect the bow to the wooden stock. The stock is carved with lines and floral motifs in low relief. There is a metal (likely steel) sight in the shape of an arch, which can be folded back. There is a metal trigger lever. Strikingly, a fantastical beast with the head of a bearded man, carved in the round, sits towards the back of the stock. The crossbow ends in a white knob.
