Description
-
This crossbow has an iron prod with reddish-crown pom-poms near the rope binding along with an iron suspension ring. The top of the wooden stock is designed with a large diamond containing a floral pattern within a scroll-like frame. A grape wine hangs below the diamond. There is a smiling mask underneath the front of the stock. The sides of the stock are inlaid with bone and mother-of-pearl depicting racemes (unbranched flowers with short floral stocks), two birds perching on floral designs, and three more birds on the other side. At the lower part of the stock is a bone plaque inlaid with the decoration of a mask surrounded by floral and fruit-like patterns. The butt stock features another bird perching on branches blooming into vined flowers. The bottom of the butt stock is also carved decoratively.
A bolt clip rests above the nut, made of bone along with a sliding slot. The crossbow has a wide iron trigger guard, trigger, and set trigger.
