Description
-
This pellet crossbow is covered with metal elements throughout the bow, with the top lined with inlaid engravings. Reinforcing the slender steel prod with a front metal column, the prod is stamped with the maker's mark (Neue Støckel 6451). The bow is fitted with a string with a pouch, for pellet firing, and is held back with a catch that has a slide portion to it. Controlled by the trigger below, it would seem the incorporated metal unit catches the string in the slided-forward top compartment. The mechanism is then re-engaged by sliding the mechanism back. A height adjustable sight is screwed in on the top, which may be used to align with the front sights and the top parts of the slide. Many elements of this crossbow seem screwed in from the sides, with many flathead-like screws embedded into it.
