Description
-
This robust steel bow is attached by a large securement with metal plates to hold it in place. Connected to the lacquered wood stock with rivets, there are many metal components in place of other materials. Aside the suspension ring, the bolt track , bolt clip, nut and screws are all plated with metal, screwed into the column with exposed screws on the top metal securements. A shaped cheek rest is on the side of the butt, with burn marks on the lower half.
Thomas Del Mar mentions that this bow is completed with a steel cranequin with turned wooden handles, the claw mount stamped with a leaf mark.
